Mrs. Amy Baldwin

WELCOME CLASS OF 2016-2017!    Amy Baldwin photo

My name is Mrs. Baldwin.

I grew up in Fresno,  CA where I got my bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from Fresno Pacific University and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Fresno State University. I taught for 12 years in Fresno, 11 years of which were in the primary grades.
How did I come to live in Alaska?  My husband has been working up here seasonally for 7 years, most of which have been as a fishing guide. This year we decided to make the permanent move to Ketchikan,  and have been blessed to become a part of the Ketchikan community and now a part of TSAS!!
A few of my outside interests include going on adventures with my husband,  watercolor painting,  fishing,  cooking, and a variety of hands-on projects.
I am looking forward to a great year with your students here at TSAS!
