My name is Melissa Johnson and I was born and raised in Ketchikan. Alaska. I graduated from Ketchikan High School in 1995. I enjoy hiking and fishing.
After High School I went to college in Kansas where I played Basketball and Volleyball. My husband, Kevin, and family moved back to Ketchikan in August of 2015. I have three amazing children: Isaac who is a Senior at Kayhi, Krey who will be a junior, and Bree who is a 4th grader at TSAS. I have been a School Administrator, Teacher and coach for over 16 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Science in education and a Masters in Educational Leadership. Areas of education that I specialize in are reading and writing.
