3rd & 4th grade   Newsnote

Dear Parents & Guardians, Friday, Sept. 14, 2018



Students need to dress for the weather. Bring coats and comfortable walking shoes.

We will be walking to Ketchikan Creek and exploring the exposed sandbars.


Please remember to send in SNACKS for your kiddos! We have snack time every day at 11:00-11:10. We welcome extra donated snacks that we can share.

3/4 Homework Expectations:

Homework will include:

1. Reading and Writing (Read & Respond), completed daily Monday-Thursday

2. Math, completed daily Monday-Thursday

3. Additional activities/projects as assigned by the teaching team.

Third grade expectation: 30 minutes

Fourth grade expectation: 40 minutes

We understand that students are involved in extracurricular activities.

If your student is not able to finish their homework, please send in a note and we will excuse them from their work.

This week we learned about Clara Barton,

Helen Keller, and Anne Frank – important figures in history who

exemplify great hearts. We learned about the circulatory system too!

We love seeing our students reading and writing!
